Meat & Poverty

The world population is now around 6.8 billion and growing fast. There are likely to be more than 9 billion of us by 2050! That's a lot of mouths to feed. How are we going to do it?

The current world-feeding strategy involves cutting down rainforests and letting 1 billion people go hungry. That doesn't seem fair.

One thing we can all do to make sure we don't take more than our fair share of the world's farmland is eat less meat.
